- Walhalla launches a new VMware Cloud product that has passed the demanding VMware Cloud Verified certification. This certification guarantees the use of the best architecture and best practices of VMware, as well as interoperability with other providers.
- Walhalla is the only one of the three Spanish suppliers that have this certification that hosts their VMware services in a Tier IV CPD, and with the maximum guarantees of the high level National Security Scheme.
- The solution offers a virtual data center as a service or SDDC (Software Defined Data Center) and is available in both public and private cloud modes.
- Walhalla will present the solution in detail in a webinar next Tuesday, October 28, and will also be present at the VMworld Europe in Barcelona the week of November 4.
Additionally, Walhalla has reached an important agreement with JMG Virtual Consulting (leading company in Spain in VMware training), which covers different collaborations, from consulting and auditing services to the VMware Cloud Verified platform (in whose design and implementation JMG has participated) , to a training program aimed at Walhalla partners to facilitate their onboarding with VMware technology.

The product will offer important technical innovations, such as the immediate availability of thousands of applications and software in one click (thanks to BitNami technology), encrypted by default in real time thanks to NetApp HCI, native integration in the Veeam interface and others backup solutions, and shortly also container solutions as a service and environments for developers at the hands of Pivotal.
Among the outstanding use cases of the solution are those related to regulatory compliance and DRP (where many public administrations are increasingly under pressure to comply with the National Security Scheme and to have a business recovery plan), the already mentioned the update of old versions of vSphere and / or migration to the cloud, as well as the virtual data center to host servers in the cloud, PC virtualization, and of course many others.
